Le Shrimp Noodle Bar

If you are in the Los Angeles area and have some time for a unique noodle soup experience, I definitely recommend Le Shrimp Noodle Bar. This noodle soup place is the first location in the U.S. that uses Shrimp broth. This restaurant has made a creation that is a hybrid of Chinese flavors in Japanese ramen.

The menu at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is bountiful with many different selections of noodles in three different categories, Shrimp Broth, Tossed Noodles, and Vegan Noodles. When we arrived at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar, there was a 40-minute wait, luckily it was in a mall so we had activities to kill time.

In the end, we had a few different appetizers and four different ramen. Our appetizer selection consisted of Chilled Tofu, Seasoned Bamboo Shoots, Braised Bean Curd, and Poached Lettuce with Supreme Soy Sauce.

For our main dishes, we ordered two of the Prawn with Chicken Wonton Shrimp Ramen, the Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen, and Prawns with Chicken Wontons Tossed Ramen.

The ramen was superb. It was rich in flavor and definitely worth the trip. I personally prefer my noodles a little more かた(firm) on the firmness of the noodles. You can order the shrimp either with the shell or without the shell but as a warning when you order it with the shell on your shrimp will not be deveined.

The service was great and the food was great with some minor personal preferences. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that who loves eating shrimp.
